Citations are created using MLA's list of core elements: Include maximum two authors in the entry (first author's last name, first name and second author's name in direct order; for more than two authors, list the first author's last name, first name, followed by a comma and In quotation mark if the source is part of a larger work, but italicized it if the source is self-contained; for example, an article title is placed in quotation mark, but a book title is italicized.This element is required for all sources in the Works Cited List; if there is no official title, If there are more than one publication date, cite the date that is most relevant (for example, when citing an online article, cite only the online publication date if it is different from the print one).If your instructor has specific requirements for the format of your research paper, check them before preparing your final draft.
If you lack 8½-by-11-inch paper, choose the closest size available. Some instructors prefer papers printed on a single side because they’re easier to read, but others allow printing on both sides as a means of conserving paper; follow your instructor’s preference.

Follow the rules for capitalization in the A research paper does not normally need a title page, but if the paper is a group project, create a title page and list all the authors on it instead of in the header on page 1 of your essay.
If your teacher requires a title page in lieu of or in addition to the header, format it according to the instructions you are given.
