Crime is enigmatic, so it is hard to be measured in the society.In addition, definition of crime varies across the countries and there is no universal law exists in the world.Statistics indicate a decline in violent crimes in our country and an increase in our national prison population. Gun control legislation, reform programs, victim rights awareness, and other programs are abundant in our country, but do little to alleviate violent crime.
